If you (or a loved one) is being threatened by someone who is disseminating sensitive images or videos, stay calm and take the following steps immediately to minimize damage and protect yourself.

 1. COLLECT EVIDENCE

Take screenshots, save all messages, images, and information related to the subject.

Note the time, account link, and any other signs that help identify the violator.

This is an important basis if you need to report to the authorities or file a lawsuit.

 2. REPORT TO FACEBOOK (IF RELEVANT)

If your image is distributed, use the “Rights Manager” or “Support Inbox” tool to request removal and handle the infringing account.
