Mr. Hieu PC shares at INTERPOL about Deepfake, AI and cyber fraud

From July 8-10, 2025, Mr. Ngo Minh Hieu (Hieu PC) - cyber crime investigation expert - attended the INTERPOL Asia - South Pacific Conference held in Hanoi.

At the presentation session, Mr. Hieu warned about cybercriminals using Deepfake technology to fake faces and voices, spreading false information to steal data and defraud property.

In the next session, he and international experts discussed the application of AI and Big Data in detecting abnormal behaviors, analyzing data and tracking cybercrime. Highlights include:

The conference was attended by nearly 70 delegates from 43 countries, along with representatives of Hanoi Police and international organizations such as INTERPOL and ASEANPOL. This is an important opportunity for law enforcement agencies in the region to share information, enhance cooperation and coordinate in the pursuit of transnational crimes.
