Introducing AI tool to identify fraudulent websites

AI tools built with the goal of Help users detect early signs of fraudulent links and websites, thereby proactively avoiding risks. Users just need to paste a URL into the check box, the system will automatically:

  • Website structure analysis using AI models to detect suspicious elements (fake domains, brand imitation content, malicious links, etc.). The tool not only considers the URL but also analyzes the content, interface, and source code of the website through fine-tuned large language models (LLMs), combining “reasoning” capabilities to assess the plausibility and risk of the page.
  • Recording website interactions: The system allows recording and taking pictures of the website being checked, so that users can visually observe suspicious elements.
  • Check against fraud database compiled from the community and Anti-Fraud partners.
  • Risk assessment on a scale: The returned results are not just “safe/scam” labels, but risk level from 1-10, along with a detailed explanation of the factors that make the equipment highly risky.
  • Return visual results with site screenshots, risk indicators and detailed warnings.
  • In particular, the current tool has an accuracy of up to 98%.

The tool is now integrated directly into the Anti-Fraud website, making it easy for users to check any link before accessing it or providing personal information.

The Young Generation of Anti-Fraud

Behind the birth of this AI tool is a young development team, dynamic and full of potential. The young talents in Anti-Fraud's AI team include:

  • Le Nguyen Viet Cuong (2005) – Third Prize of the competition Best Developers in Vietnam 2023; achieved the title Best Performance in 10/14 Computer Science subjects.
  • Nguyen Van Huy Quang (2005) – Second Prize in the Nghe An Provincial Informatics Competition.
  • Truong Duc Sang (2004) – Currently working at Viettel Solutions (Talented Intern – IoT field).
  • Nguyen Vinh Khang (2005) – 5th place in the Lam Dong province national IT team selection competition, First prize in the Lam Dong province Automatic Robot competition.
Anti-Fraud AI Team and Mr. Ngo Minh Hieu

Under the guidance of expert Ngo Minh Hieu, the team researched, designed and trained an AI model to identify fraudulent websites based on real data. Despite their young age, the members have demonstrated a spirit of learning, creativity and commitment to contributing to a larger mission: protect Vietnamese users in cyberspace.

In Security Bootcamp 2025, the Anti-Fraud AI team made a strong impression with their presentation. “Applying AI in Cybersecurity: Detecting scam websites using LLMs”, received attention from the professional community.

Conclusion

The launch of the AI tool is part of Anti-Fraud's efforts to expand its automated fraud detection solutions. As the AI system is trained on real-world data and the user community continues to contribute reports, detection will become more accurate.

The tool not only supports individual users but also contributes useful data to media units, businesses and cybersecurity organizations in preventing, warning and handling fraudulent behaviors in cyberspace.
