So where is the place often chosen for victims to report? In the survey for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/chongluadao.vn\/blog\/en\/asiareport_author\/\">Asia 2023 scam report<\/a>, GASA and Gogolook conducted a survey of &quot;organizations and units receiving fraud reports&quot; that victims often choose in 11 countries in the Asian region. Let&#039;s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/chongluadao.vn\/blog\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Anti-Phishing<\/a>\u00a0(CLD) learn more about this study in more detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After analyzing reporting readiness and the proportion of financial losses recovered, GASA and Gogolook delved deeper into the analysis of the organizations and departments that people typically report to. In Taiwan and South Korea, the majority of people use government websites to report scams. For example, South Korea&#039;s Financial Supervisory Authority and Taiwan&#039;s Criminal Investigation Bureau have created a special reporting section on their official websites, allowing people to quickly report online scams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In recent years, as fraudulent advertising infiltrated digital platforms such as Facebook, Google and YouTube, Taiwan&#039;s Criminal Investigation Department also established an advertising reporting department. By lowering the reporting threshold, they aim to engage the public in preventing scams and working with relevant departments to remove such ads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When looking at specific actors and preferences, Vietnamese are most likely to report scams to friends and family, while Malaysians are most likely to report scams to their banks.
