Currently, high-tech scammers are targeting blood donors with extremely sophisticated tricks, impersonating medical facilities to steal personal information and assets.
The scam being used:
- Impersonating the Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital (HBT) or the Humanitarian Blood Donation Center (HCD).
- Call to notify abnormal blood donation results (such as high red blood cell count).
- Exploiting living habits: drinking coffee, smoking...
- Instruct Make friends on Zalo with someone claiming to be a doctor to check again.
- Then, send fake app installation link – when the user clicks, all personal information can be hacked and stolen.
Important note from the Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital and the Humanitarian Blood Donation Center:
✅ Results after blood donation sent only via SMS Official Brandname:
- "BVTMHH" or "TTHIENMAUTP”
✅ In case of need for health check-up, medical staff will:
- Call directly from: (028) 3957 1718 or (028) 3868 6856
- We ask you to come for a direct examination at:
→ No. 118 Hong Bang, Ward 12, District 5, HCMC
→ Time: From 14:00 to 16:00, Monday - Friday
❌ Never ask to download an app or click on a strange link to get medical advice.
To avoid being scammed, always remember:
- Not provided Personal information such as CCCD, OTP code, bank account... via phone or text message.
- Not following instructions from suspicious calls.
- Do not click on any links Send via Zalo or text message if not verified.
- Call to verify now Contact BVTMHH at (028) 3955 7858 or TT.HMND (028) 38686856 when in doubt.
This is behavior. violation of law, causing confusion for blood donors and affecting the reputation of the medical industry.
